On December 10, 2022, The Dallas Morning News published a report titled, “Groups speak out about what they see as Hindu ‘extremist group’ operating in Frisco”. The report said that “The Federation of Indian American Christian Organizations, a group whose mission is “to protect the interest of the Christian church” in India, alleged in a written statement that the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is an “extremist group operating under the garb of a charity.” The group said the Hindu organization has been raising money in Texas aimed at demolishing churches in India and forcefully converting Christians to Hinduism.”

What did the reporter, Susan McFarland, miss? The very simple fact that “demolishing churches” was the dog-whistle used by the extremist FIACONA group (that has used every opportunity to spread lies about religious freedom and conflict in India, and which has the ability to spread its lies through the tens of thousands of Christian organizations and mouthpieces around the world to spread those lies and mischief) to target the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation based in Frisco, TX, which had basically followed up on the illegal construction of churches in Tirupati, and the Tirupati Municipal Council’s decision to demolish these attempts to provoke Hindus in one of their most sacred of temple towns.

That FIACONA is a Christian extremist organization is obvious by the shrill statements that it periodically makes, and which is picked up the Christist ecosystem around…
